I prefer observing change or letting change happen to trying to bring about change. i try to steer clear of any thought of self-improvement. I want to be acutely aware of my own shame, guilt or anger so that I don’t wind up blaming others for confusion I’ve created in my head. I choose to think I don’t have a self. (I realize that may sound like a contradiction in terms.) I enjoy nondualistic philosophy and philosophers who question the existence of an individual self or traditional concepts of self.
